Welcome to Jon Cline's Home Page

I'm a theoretical ecologist working with Joseph Koonce in the Biology Department of Case Western Reserve University. My research focus is in mathematical and computational ecology, population and community ecology of marine intertidal communities (sessile invertebrates), terrestrial plant communities and aquatic ecosystems, application of individual-based modeling, and modeling methodologies for scientific computing. The essence of my interest is exploration of the critical relationship between dynamics at the level of the individual and their translation into behavior of the ensemble.

I am also the High Performance Computing Cluster Administrator for the Division of Information Technology High Performance Computing Cluster.
